Michigan’s medical marijuana law allows for reciprocity to protect qualified out of state medical marijuana Patients while they are visiting the State of Michigan as long as the Patient’s home state also allows for reciprocity.
If the Patient has a medical marijuana registry identification card or equivalent from their home state which also allows the medical use of marijuana, that Patient is permitted to engage in the medical use of marijuana while visiting the State of Michigan.
The law also allows the visiting Patient to authorize a person to assist him or her with their medical use of marijuana.
